The lanterns are going out before the Moon Festival. Hop Bridget the bear across streets and canals, then into the stall labelled with the right answer in math, vocabulary, science, or history. A correct stall offers a charm. The last crossing of each district is a parade, and the Moon Stage is the finish.
Category: Lane Hop & Quiz. Recommended ages: 6-14.
Hop with the arrow keys, WASD, or a swipe. A tap hops forward. Each crossing ends at a row of stalls; hop into the one with the right answer for 300 points and a charm. The first miss shows the answer and allows one more try. The second miss walks Bridget to the right stall without the charm. Traffic, water, and standing still for eight seconds each cost a basket. The run starts with three baskets, up to five, and offers one Spare Basket question if they run out. Five districts, four crossings each: Lantern Lane is easy math, Willow Canal is vocabulary, Bamboo Bridge is science, Gearwork Market is history, and the Moon Stage mixes them. The fourth crossing of each district is a parade: ride the dragon segment with the right answer. Clear the Moon Stage and the festival shines.
Bridget's Fun Run is a lane hop through a lantern festival. Bridget the bear moves one hop at a time across streets and canals, and the learning sits at the end of each crossing: a row of stalls carries the answers, and the way forward is the stall with the right one. Hopping is the whole game, and the question is answered by choosing where to land.
Festival Adventure is five districts of four crossings, and the questions get harder as the festival does. Lantern Lane stays on easy math. Willow Canal mixes easy and medium vocabulary. Bamboo Bridge is medium science. Gearwork Market mixes medium and hard history. The Moon Stage is a mixed review of all four, at medium and hard. The bank does not repeat a question until every one has been used, and the answer order is shuffled, so a stall position is never a safe guess.
Hop with the arrow keys, WASD, or a swipe. A tap hops forward. A correct stall scores 300 and then offers a charm: a paper fan that clears traffic for five seconds, a lucky umbrella that floats over one water gap, a moon charm that slows traffic for six seconds, or a honey cake that returns a basket. Every third correct answer in a row also grants a charm. The first wrong stall shows the answer and allows one more hop. The second miss walks Bridget onto the right stall without the charm. Carts, boats, and falling in the water each cost a basket, and so does standing still for eight seconds while the lanterns dim. An owl keeper on a rest row can relight them with a bonus question. The run starts with three baskets, up to five, and offers one Spare Basket question when the last one goes. The fourth crossing of each district is a parade: ride the dragon segment with the right answer for 400 points. A wrong segment splashes and costs a basket. Clearing the Moon Stage lights the festival.
Hopping the first open stall burns the free look: the first miss already shows the answer, and the second miss skips the charm. Read the banner and every stall before leaving the grass. Eight seconds without a hop dims the lanterns and costs a basket — standing still on a "safe" row is not safe.
Chalk four answers on the floor or set out cushions and hop to the chosen stall. Crossing a room with a math, word, science, or history question between hops keeps the bank warm. Writing the next stall riddle with three near misses is the deeper practice.
A pause on the grass before the stall row, longer streaks, and later districts (Lantern Lane, Willow Canal, Bamboo Bridge, Gearwork Market, Moon Stage) are the markers. Lighting the Moon Festival means the last parade was read. Stall facts that reappear in talk mean the festival stuck.
