How to play

Type each word as it appears to open doors, cut vines, and clear the path while the Dust Tide creeps behind. Clue locks ask you to type an answer; Spell-It stages have Kesi say a word to type. Streaks earn gadgets like Tide Rewind. Adventure has twenty stages across Dawn Canyon (home row and basic words), Turquoise Gorge (vocabulary), Ember Mesa (science), Starlit Terraces (history), and The Sun Vault (mixed review), each ending in a Colossus boss. Lessons cover home, top, and bottom rows plus numbers, capitals, and punctuation with no tide. Endless and Daily Challenge share the same typing loop.

Learning Guide

Wordy Cubs is a typing adventure through the Canyon Ruins. Zuri the fennec cub runs ahead while you type words to open glyph locks, clear obstacles, and keep the Dust Tide from catching up, and Kesi the bird pauses the trail for clues and spell-it words. Every correct letter is the whole move, and the clue is the pause that earns coins and gadgets.

There are twenty adventure stages across five canyons of four, and the word lists follow the cliffs. Dawn Canyon stays on home-row and basic words. Turquoise Gorge moves to vocabulary. Ember Mesa is science. Starlit Terraces is history. The Sun Vault mixes hard vocab, science, history, capitals, and punctuation, and each canyon ends in a Colossus boss. Lessons cover home, top, and bottom rows plus numbers, capitals, and punctuation with no Dust Tide. Endless and Daily Challenge use the same typing loop. The clue bank does not lean on a single subject forever; answers accept common synonyms where listed.

Type the glowing word to clear doors, pillars, vines, blades, boulders, and pits. Mistakes push the Dust Tide forward; clean streaks push it back. Clue locks ask a typed answer within a timer; a hint costs coins and reveals the first letter. Spell-It stages have Kesi say a word to type. Three correct answers in a row can grant a gadget such as Tide Rewind. A Second Wind clue after a hard hit can buy more space. On-screen keyboard, high contrast, large text, and a dyslexia-friendly font are in settings. Esc pauses.

Racing for speed while accuracy falls is how the Dust Tide wins. Hunting keys on the on-screen keyboard costs more time than resting on home row. Skipping clues keeps the path open but skips the pause that pays coins. Use Lessons for accuracy; Adventure is where the Colossus waits.

Paper word list plus a timer: read a clue aloud, type the answer, then race a few obstacle words before the next clue. Vocabulary, science, or history facts fit the same bank. Inventing Kesi's next clue with two near misses is the deeper skill.

Rising accuracy and WPM, 90% lesson mastery, and later canyons (Dawn Canyon through The Sun Vault) are the markers. Relighting the Sun Vault means the Colossus was cleared. A Kesi word that returns later means the canyon stuck.
